DIS launches specialised CCTV drain inspection division
Southeys Group has formally launched DIS — Drain Inspection Services — bringing new CCTV machinery and upskilled crews to pipe condition assessment across New Zealand.

Backed by decades of civil, tunnelling and infrastructure experience, DIS combines new inspection machinery with upskilled operators to deliver precise, non-destructive assessments of gravity pipe networks. Every survey is coded and reported in line with the 4th Edition Gravity Pipe Inspection Manual, giving asset owners a clear, defensible picture of the condition of their networks.
"This is a natural extension of what Southeys has always done," says the DIS team. "We already operate nationwide with vacuum, hydro excavation and flushing services — adding dedicated inspection means we can hand clients a complete condition picture, from clearing the line to grading its remaining life."
